DEATH There is no greater thief than death, There is no greater demon than death, There is no greater Enemy than death Why!why? You may ask. Death snatches the most valuable persons dear to you Death has no limit it steals away the valuables and gives the rotten leftovers Death! If only she knew what our valuable possessions mean to us, Unfortunately, she doesn't because she has no conscience or a heart of her own. If only God could chain death away, Everyone would be happier on Earth. But now all we do is talk to the stars and bother the air. Death!!!. Pain they say is inevitable. Now I understand I never did cause everything went on smoothly . This month was supposed to be a month of celebration but. I would call it a bitter sweet month September 25th 2022 the day my dad was buried there was nothing sweet about the month just as bitter as the green bile produced by the chicken once it spills on the other parts it instantly becomes too bitter to consume . That's how it is a bitter time filled with nothing but anger, grief, agony, self pity, pain. I watched them lower dad's casket into that 6 feet pit. I couldn't cry. I just started at the grave. Covered my dirt and bricked over by brick blocks his favourite. I looked at the tomb stone . He always told me he wants to be remembered as the best poet, and so I did inscribe it on his tomb stone.'In loving Memory Mr Andrew Chriss a loving dad and a blessed poet'. I was staring at the grave when my friends came up to me to give me a hug. My friends, my boy, and their parents were all there to give me emotional support. I appreciated everyone who took their time to pay respect to my father . Dad, I miss you so much it hurts really bad . After some time, everyone left, still sympathising with me. After the departure of everyone, I knelt down at dad's grave and just cried I couldn't hold it in. Luckily, the rain poured, helping me wash my tears away. I could hear the splutter of rain around me, but nothing was on me. I felt protected from the rain. I turned to look back and realised that someone was holding a big black umbrella about my head. He looked really beautiful? Oh well, he looked like a masterpiece God's very own creation. He had the warmest smile beautiful, I abruptly stood up, looked at him and nodded, and said, " Thank you." My voice really was croaked. I was walking to the car when he ran towards me. "Wait!" He had the same deeply coated Itallian accent as that of that man 'irritatating' . I halted in my track he came closer. ohhh, the smell of roses and espresso went so well that he smelt like comfort. "I'm Ant-" I cut him off immediately not wanting to listen dad would have scolded me for stigmatising one race because of one person's character ,but he wasn't here and that because of the Italian man Antonio. I'll be damned if I give this Italiano the light of day to invade my space. " don't introduce yourself cause I have no intention in exchanging pleasantries with the likes of youdon't introduce yourself cause I have no intention in exchanging pleasantries with the likes of you" I said in a harsh tone. Dad's personal guard was coming my way and said, "Miss Matilda, are you ready?" Oh Franklin, why did you have to say my name out? Frustrated, I walked with my PG Frank to the car a Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) X5 . As I sat in I looked out the window the male specie stood in place ,before I could turn away he looked into my direction his eyes had this alluring beauty around it a very precise beautiful green eyes ,before I could get more invested in it I turned away . I was finally home after a heartbreaking day. But suprise I have guests "Miss they've all been waiting for you," said a maid. I walked into the living area and smiled. At least, that's what I can do now. "Thank you all for attending the burial ceremony of my father. Thank you for your kind gestures and deep consolation. I deeply appreciate it. Do well to enjoy the rest of your evening. Thank you, " I said with a little bow and made way to Smantha and Bridgets parents who were sulking at a corner. After cheering each other up, I went in search of my friends and boyfriend they should be in the game room, I guess. I was about to go in when I heard Samantha scream at someone, "Are you crazy!!! Bridget, how could you? Pregnant? You've got to be kidding, and that too for Ben?" I stood shocked." How do I face Mat now? What's gonna happen? You both mean she's going through a lot, and you did this? How long has it been going on? BENN!!!" " YOU CRAZY BASTARD YOU TRICKED MY SISTER DIDN’T YOU??" I could tell Samantha what furious I just want to hear a little more just a little "Samantha " I heard Bridgets can voice " I and Ben are in love he didn't manipulate me or anything. It's a shame she's going through a lot now, but she can't always everything the way she wants. She's always had everything her way. Why can't I have just Ben? She dosent have to know please sister" I laughed at myself this can't be happening , then I heard Ben " It's true I love Bridge and Mats doesn't have to know I'll tell her when everthing is all settled down" Samantha was all Silent Ben how could you? "Bridgy, I love you .You're my sister, but I can't hurt Mat's she's always there for us she never ever treated us like trash. What's gotten into you?" I've heard enough. I opened the door and went in Ben , Bridgs, and Samantha looked so frightened."Do I have something on my face?" I smiled, asking," How long have you been out there?" Sam asked "long enough to know my ex bestfriend and ex boyfriend are parents" I laughed after my reply "Babe I can explain, she drugged me it was an accident babe" Ben said dad was right about this fool he really is a jerk " but you confessed your love towards her a few minutes ago Ben" I said looking at Bridgy "Been how could you?" Samantha slapped him across the face. I couldn't bear to see them anymore it's too pathetic to watch they were all bantering. "Leave all of you," I said sternly. Samantha was about to speak. It seems she decided not to as she's aware I'm not one to change my mind. They've all left the house, which seems quiet. The beauty of silence.
