A few minutes later the helicopter arrived. Alejandra Bonilla was badly injured but alive.
“There’s only place for two more,” said the pilot when Baldwin and his daughters wanted to get aboard.
“It’s alright girls. You go along with Alejandra. I will take the next flight. I want you out of here; now go with mommy.” Baldwin waited on the centre court for the helicopter to leave. Gerd Heckenrath joined him on the court. Laid his arm upon Baldwin’s shoulder. “Saved her once,” said Baldwin with a trembling voice.
“Now you have saved her twice,” said Heckenrath. “She will make it Rudd, don’t you worry about her. She’s not only a pretty thing she’s also pretty strong. Ha! She’s strong as hell.”
