“What are you doing?” Judy was panicking. Nobody had heard or seen anything; yet she was looking at the next two victims.
“They are not dead. They have been drugged,” said Casey. “We’ve got to get them out of here.”
“Drugged? I thought he had killed them like the others,” said Lazaro.
“The others were beheaded Ken; Axelrod and Reeson are only drugged,” Casey answered.
“Why didn’t he kill them?” said Lazaro. “That doesn’t make any sense.”
At first Casey wanted to agree with Ken, but he changed his mind and said: “Unless it wasn’t the killer who drugged them.”
“Then who did this?”
“Mackelvey; maybe. He doesn’t know who murdered Steven and his sister. Maybe he thought Nick and Dwight…”
