27 Golfito, 2003. The reception of the hotel ‘Miramar’ was a simple desk. Whenever you needed a receptionist you had to walk into the living room behind the desk, hoping to find someone. Rudd Baldwin was in luck. The only staff member able to speak a little bit of English, a woman around her forties, was watching TV.
