“The Greenhouse?” Judy Kerr repeated Rick’s last words.
“Our base was situated in the middle of the jungle. f*****g… Sorry, extremely hot.”
“I see,” Judy said. “And the man you’re looking for worked there too?”
“We can narrow it down to an even smaller group,” said Casey. “The man we are looking for was one of the guys who came along with us to Golfito; when we all went there on leave.”
“I don’t get it. You make it sound as if Panama didn’t matter?”
“No, no, Panama did matter. The Greenhouse was a secret base. We were all told we had to keep this secret to ourselves, that’s why it became so complicated,” said Casey. “But what happened in Golfito is related to the men who joined us. Our squad and a few men accompanying sergeant Heckenrath.”
“Heckenrath?” Judy repeated.
