Behind the door there’s a long tunnel which gives you too much time to think. It makes sense that there’s a Master here, somewhere, but you hadn’t planned on meeting him. If you do see him, what will you say? Anything you can think of would be awkward. He knows what you’re doing here – he must, of course, since he planned it all for you – but you’re not sure you could publicly thank him for it. Or privately, for that matter. There’s another door at the tunnel’s end and you can hear music playing behind it. Still wondering what you’d say or do, you push it open. The tunnel’s brought you to a place that only movies have prepared you for – you’re clearly at the edges of a masked ball.
