I remained quiet for a minute, eyes flickering incessantly.
Option? What option could be possible be talking about?
Confusion heightened in me as my lips parted slowly. “What's that, Dad?”
“You'll have to get married immediately,” he blurted, his voice cold and harsh.
I shuddered, dumbstruck.
Was I imagining things or did I just hear my father utter those words? No, this had to be a joke…
