17. Air Kingdom: Coronation

Farys pov.

Today is my coronation. I'll become the King of Air Kingdom. I wish I had found my Alter by now. Even if I won't say it out loud, my father is right, I need a Queen. But I just can make myself give up the hope of finding her, my Alter. I'm 37 already. I need an heir. I need someone to love and to love me back.

"Son?" my mom soft voice came ."Are you ready, my child? The ceremony will start in 30 minutes."

"Yes, mother! I'm ready! I was born to be ready for this day!"

"You know that we are proud of you and we love you! Please don't be mad at your father."

"I'm not, mother! He..he is right !" I finally admitted.

My mother eyes widening in surprise.

"Farys, my son! Let's talk about this after your coronation. "She hugged me and I just nod my head in agreement.

Evolet pov

I was getting ready for my uncle Farys coronation! Can't wait to see my grandparents. We were always so close.

After last night little incident, I couldn't stop thinking about those golden eyes. King Blaze was so handsome. Everyone will agree with that.

But there was something else about him, about the way he looked at me like he knew me. About the way he smells, he talks. Everything about him makes me want to be in his presence all the time.

What intrigued me most is the way he was able to calm me down. The way my body reacted in his presence.

"Evolet? You're ready?"Oren yelled from his door.

"Yes, Prince Oren! I'm coming! "

I get out of my room. Oren was now leaning on the wall.

"Your Majesty, if you allow me.." he said extending his arm for me to take.

"Of course I allow you, sweet Prince! "we couldn't contain our laughter. Both holding our tummies.

We finally get downstairs to meet the others. We are going together for the Farys coronation.

I froze in my tracks for a second when my eyes locked with Blaze's golden ones. He wears blue jeans with a button-up black shirt. He looked like a Greek God.

"Come on Evolet! "Oren said grabbing my hand. I follow him in the carriage! It will be a very long trip. Blaze is coming with us, while my parents and Willow's parents will travel together.

Unfortunately, Oren took one side from the carriage for himself, so I get stuck next to the Greek God.

'Ughhh! I'm gonna kill Oren's stupid ass!'

I looked at the window most of the time trying to avoid Blaze gaze.

We travel in silence till Oren asked: "It is your sister going to come for Farys coronation, Blaze? "

'Blaze?! since when these two are so good friends?'

"She is, of course. Enya loves parties! She was so excited that she can come. "He said with a small smile.

After few more minutes of listening to their conversation, sleep took over me soon.

"Evolet? Wake up! We're here!"

I open my eyes to see golden ones watching me. Something in them made the hair on my arms stand up.

I looked around to notice my head was on Blaze lap, and my arms wrapped around his waist.

'Did he stayed in this position all this time to let me sleep? '

Blushing I get up, our lips so close for a second. So tempting. But Oren snores broke the spell. I gulped and close my eyes, then move to my seat.

"Did you have a good sleep, Princess? "

I look his way, not expecting him to say something.

"I did! Thank you!"I said. I just now realised that I have slept and there was no nightmare.

'Was this because of him? Is he able to chase my nightmares away? '

The carriage came to a stop, and I sigh in relief.

"Are we there yet?"Oren sleepy voice came.

"Yes, Prince Oren! We are, indeed! "Blaze responded.

Oren gets out from the carriage first, leaving me and Blaze alone. After a few moments, he gets up, and hold the door for me with a hand and the other for me to take.

I watch him hesitantly. But then I took it. It was so rough and warm, sending chills in places I never felt before.

I brushed the thought away, as I see his stone face. But his eyes were telling another story. There was longing, desire, pain, anger, all mixed. 'What was going on in this men's head? '

"Blaze, Evolet! Come on! The ceremony will start in 10 minutes. Mom and dad are already there!"

The ceremony was held in the Capital City centre, The Silver City.

Lots of people gathered through for their king coronation! Everyone looked so happy. White, grey and blue decorations covered the buildings, and waves of laughter filled the air.

A red-haired woman was running towards us! She was beautiful! Tall with long legs, that could be seen through the long, side split dress and eyes as black as charcoals.

"Blaze! Blaze! "She yelled throwing herself in his arms.

I wanted to grab her hair and get her off of him.

'What's wrong with me?' It's not like there's something between us!'

"Sister! You are ok!" he said wrapping his arms around her small waist, kissing her head.

'Sister? That's good to know! Not that I care who he's hugging or something '.

"Enya, please meet Evolet, Head Warrior and Princess of Earth Kingdom! Evolet, this is my sister, Enya! "

"Whoa!!Head Warrior and Princess?! I already like you! It's nice to meet you, Evolet! "she said hugging me! 'Ok..so she's a hugger!'

Blaze chuckled then turn to Oren!

"Oren meet my sister, Enya! Enya this is Prince Oren, Evolet's brother! "

They shake hands and we made our way to our places. The ceremony will begin every second now.

"People of the Air Kingdom, today our Prince Farys will become King! "Zefir voice boomed through the crowd!

Loud cheers and whistles could be heard. Those peoples love Farys.

"Farys Zaner, do you swear to protect this Kingdom with your life, take care of its people and always act in their best? "

"I do!" he said.

Zefir took Farys hand and a warm wind start blowing! It was like a power transfer. Not one that will leave the old King without his element, but one that will give the new King the authority and confidence he needed.

"I give you King Farys Zaner! Long live the King!"

"Long live the King! " numerous voices came from the crowd.

"The King has lived long enough! "Said someone and then the screamings were all you could hear.

The Water King was here with an army.

The war came to us! And all we can do is fight.
