I stayed in my office till around midnight. I put the dagger into a locked box under my desk. And I decided to finally go to bed.
The truth is I missed Evolet so much.
I get to my room, opening the door slowly, thinking that maybe she's sleeping. But to my surprise she was sitting by the window, looking at the starry sky. She wore a knee-length nightdress. It looks so good on her.
"Blaze!" she said when she noticed me
She came running and jumped into my arms!
"I missed you so much, Blaze! I'm so sorry! I couldn't react any different, knowing that I might lose you! I love you! "she said hiding her face in my chest.
