Chapter 5

Leah's POV

Wooaaahh! I exclaimed in awe.

America is so beautiful and woah the people here are pretty. It's so good I learnt to speak English at an early age. We drove into the estate and he dropped me at the house. The chauffeur helped me with my luggages,after which I thanked him with a tip I unpacked my luggages and arranged my wardrobe. The house was spacious and beautiful with a large kitchen,unlike my house in Korea. I freshened up after which I had cereals before proceeding to work on my computer. I rechecked my Interview date and time and confirmed it.

Monday,10:30am,Daunt Photo studios. I said to myself.

Okay,I'd just use The weekend to explore Los Angeles.

I shutdown my PC and plugged it to a socket.

I looked at the clock and saw that the time was 9:45pm.

I texted Dianna before plugging my phone to sleep. I said my night prayer and lied on the bed,and then I drifted up to sleep.

Apaaaa!!! Jugji ma,Jebal.. I cried,as I held my blood bathed Father.

"Nae ttal-eun Uljima,Saranghae" My father said,holding my face. I heard footsteps

coming towards where I was.

"Palli Ka. Abeojineun Dangsin- eun manh-i salanghabnida" My dad urged me.

Apa Apaaa Apa. I cried as I crawled away to escape.. I jumped from the window and kept on running after discovering someone was following me... As I got to the street,a car hit me and...

I woke up in a fit and in lots of sweat. I tried to shake off the fearful feeling I was having when I looked at the time. 8:23am. I wiped the tears in my eyes as I walked into the shower. I removed my clothes and freed my hair while I put the shower on. The cool water was washing down my hair and back,as I recalled the day Father died. It hasn't been easy for me cause I witnessed his death,but I didn't see the face of the culprit. Sigh.. I rubbed soap all over my body before scrubbing myself with my sponge. After 40 mins of Bathing,I came out and wore a shorts with a Turtleneck shirt and a black coat. I picked my small earring and wore them,after which I brushed my hair. I wore a lip gloss and picked my purse and phone up. I checked the time.9:56am. I checked through my window and saw that the sun was out. I took my sunglasses and stepped out to my porch after locking my door.

Los Angeles,here I come. I said.
