Lisa's POV
Nathan’s presence filled the room instantly, his scent and aura overwhelming. I stumbled back, my heart pounding as his intense gaze bore into me.
“What are you doing here?” I demanded, my voice trembling. “You shouldn’t—”
He cut me off, his voice low and commanding. “Enough, Lisa.”
I froze, the sharp edge in his tone rendering me speechless. His eyes, piercing and unreadable, scanned my face as if searching for something.
“You’ve been tormenting me,” Nathan said, stepping closer.
“I’m not tormenting you,” I countered weakly, backing away until my back hit the edge of the bed.
