Alpha Nathan's POV
I had just returned from an exhausting meeting and was making my way upstairs to my room, desperate for a cold shower before checking on Lisa. However, before I could reach my destination, a guard approached me.
“Greetings, Alpha. Miss Anne asked me to inform you that she hasn't been feeling well.”
The moment my wolf heard her name, he scoffed angrily. He never liked Anne, especially after what had happened in my room the other night.
“Thank you. And how is Lisa?”
“Lady Lisa is fine,” he responded.
I nodded and continued to make my way to my room. But then I thought of Anne—she was a guest here, and I needed to check on her well-being. So, I decided to go check her room.
