Alpha Nathan’s POV
“Thank you, Alpha Nathan. I like the room,” Anne said thankfully as she looked around the room I showed her.
“Make yourself comfortable,” I said, and she nodded before sitting on the bed. I looked at her, feeling grateful. I had been searching for her, wanting to thank her for the little gesture she did, and here she was before me. I couldn’t believe it. Although there was something strange about her, I brushed it off.
“Come down later for dinner,” I said and turned to leave, but she called me back, and I turned to look her way.
“Is something wrong?”
She shook her head and frowned. “Not really. It’s just that I think your mate doesn’t like me staying here. I don’t want to cause any trouble.”
I sighed. “Don’t worry about Lisa. Believe me, she has no issue with you.
