Ashes of Eden

1876 Words
"Renesmee!" My father called me from downstairs. I was in my bedroom doing my home work for the past few days, thanks to Jacob getting it for us. Its been sunny once again. Great weather to enjoy but not for school. "Yes," I said as I came walking down the steps. "Grandpa Charlie is coming over to see you in a few, do you want to go hunt with me and your mother?" He asked me. I smiled when I heard my other grandfather was coming over. I couldn't get enough of him but to be around him, I had to go hunt. "Sure, since y'all are making drink animal blood. Y'all know I hate it." I said as I went to the door and saw my mother standing in the middle of the back yard. She looked beautiful in the sun and I couldn't get enough of it either. I don't know why, but us being in the sun its a distraction for me. Well for any human to be honest, I should know I'm part human. I just don't spark as much as them but I do shine some. "Well get use to it young lady." My mother said. "Grandpa told you he can't get it all the time." "I know, I know." I said. "Where we going?" I asked. "Little up the mountains close to home." My father said. "Race y'all." I said then took off laughing. "Sneaking little girl." My mother said. With me still laughing, they finally caught up with me, trying to grab me but I was smart. They forgot who thought me some things when people were after me. Thank you uncle Jasper. As I got to where my father said, I stopped and stood and looked out into the view. It was beautiful, seeing the whole area like this, like I was on top of the world. And seeing everything for the 1st time all over again. "Are you okay, Renesmee?" My mother asked. "Yea, kinda." I said at first. "Got a penny for your thoughts honey." She told me. "Even though your father can read your mind right now." "Actually I can't since your shield is up." My father said. My mother walked closer to me and rubbed my shoulders. Even though I'm still the little girl they always thought of being and only little over a year old in vampire years, I see myself as a young teenager like 14 years old but we say I'm 16 years old since I'm speed growling right now and what our one vampire friend had said that I'll be fully grown in 7 years but for me I feel like I already am. "Its me being a vampire and all. I get picked on at school looking like a freak because I'm smart and know everything." "Your not a freak, we just made sure since we had you to know everything, so when the time did come you were up to date on everything." My father had said. "Well you are your fathers child." My mother said chuckling a little. "Clearly you got his brains n genes from him and your beauty from me." That cheered me up a little because I do remember my father and grandpa Charlie telling me that, that I looked like mother and the others telling me ingot my smarts from my father. "How did y'all go through school?" I asked. "Which time?" My father asked. "All of them, I guess." "Well when we did go to school we stayed to ourselves. Until the day I met your mother, I saw she staring my way every time we were at lunch when she was sitting with her friends. I couldn't read her mind and it had bothered me. But I could read the others and lord some were ugh, annoying. But one has caught my eye when I heard from one other friends that your mother was asking about me and the others and she was getting jealous of your mother for looking at me. I would just laugh it off and your uncles and aunts would be like what's so funny?" He told me. "Of course I would tell them what was so funny, Rose didn't like the idea of your mother asking about us. They had a love-hate relationship until you were born. But Alice," "Your aunt Alice saw me coming and knew I was the perfect one for your father. But when your father has left me, it has broke her heart along side with mine." My mother said. "I know this story, I've heard it a lot. That doesn't tell me how y'all dealt what I'm going through." "Honey, we didn't. No one messed with us. We had friends to talk to, at least I did. Your father and them didn't talk to anyone really other than me. Unless they were being spoken to then they spoke." My mother told me. "Just give it time." I nodded my head then went to find a few kills. After I had drained them, we had taken off back home just in time for grandpa Charlie. When he pulled up, I opened the door and ran to him. I gave him the biggest hug ever without trying to kill him. As we went back into the house, Emmett had came down to watch some baseball games that was on, which got my grandpa Charlie all happy about. I just laughed when they got all comfortable on the couch. I sat next to them watching the game as well as my parents had left to do who knows what. After awhile, we had watched a few games on the TV and about 5 pm Jacob and Seth had came over with about 6 pizzas for us. Charlie looked at the pizzas and shook his head. "Why so many pizzas boys? Bella and them don't eat." "Well I got box for you, one for Nessie, and the rest for us." Jacob told us, which I kinda knew that. "Yea Charlie, we have to keep us with our calories here." Seth told us. "Don't over eat, y'all get fat." Charlie told them which made all of us laugh. "Man, I don't know the meaning of fat." Emmett said pushing Jacob a little. "Nor do we, we run so much that whatever we just ate goes away that fast. That's why we eat a lot." "Naw, y'all are just boys and eat a lot." I said making a little joke. "Leah don't eat that much." "She's a girl," Seth said. "My point exactly." I said. "But when your not looking, she goes into town with the food." Jacob said. "Yea she does. I think she's afraid that we'll say something about it." "Knowing y'all, you would call her fat." I had said. The boys laughed at that but dug in with the food. I had ate a few slices of pizza and watched the game with them. Even after the game, Charlie and I had played a few games of chess to see who's mind was sharper. The game lasted awhile where I didn't know that the boys had left and only ones that were in the living room was me, grandpa Charlie, and grandpa Carlisle. He was observing the game, on how it was going. But after 30 minutes, I finally had made my moves to check mate and stood up. "Check mate, grandpa." I said cheering myself on. "Yes, I see." Charlie had said then stood up. He looked over at the wall and saw it was getting late. "Well I gotta go, I promise Sue I would be home on time for dinner with her kids." Charlie told me when he leaned down to kiss my head. "Okay, if you see Jacob, tell him to come by please." "Yes, dear." After he said that he had left. I looked over and saw grandpa Carlisle was staring at me and the chess game. "What?" I asked. "I saw that, Missy." "Saw what?" "You cheated." "No, no I didn't." I said smirking a little. "Mhm, did you not want to play anymore?" I thought about that then looked at the game. I was very good at chess and could have taken him out in 3 or 4 moves but I didn't. "I have no idea what your talking about." I said smiling the skipped up to the stairs. "Sure, Nessie. Sure." He said then dropped it. I laughed before heading into my room. I thought of something to do. As before I thought of it, I opened my window and jumped into the tree from my window. As I started climbing up the tree to the top, to see the sun as it was coming down for the night. As I thought of it, I thought of Eden that I've read from all the books. Will the faithful be rewarded? When we come to the end, will I miss the final warning? From the lie that I have lived is there anybody calling? I can see the soul within and I am not worthy I am not worthy of this. As I think of the Volturi coming back for me, is my family going to be with me forever. Are you with me after all? Why can't I hear you? Are you with me through it all? Then why can't I feel you? Stay with me don't let me go because there's nothing left at all. Stay with me don't let me go until the ashes of eden fall. I've always thought that things would fall upon me, like will the darkness fall upon me? When the air is growing thin? Will the light begin to pull me? To its everlasting will I can hear the voices haunting there is nothing left to fear and I am still calling I am still calling to you, as my family, my soul, my life. Are you with me after all? Why can't I hear you? Are you with me through it all? Then why can't I feel you? Stay with me don't let me go because there's nothing left at all. Stay with me don't let me go until the ashes of eden fall. Those were the words I thought would be perfect for what I felt at this time. But was I wrong. Was there nothing else to do with me forever or was I over thinking it all. The same words kept replying in my head, Don't let go. But was that just enough. "Don't let go, Don't let go, Don't let go, Don't let go, Don't let go." Why can't I hear you? Stay with me don't let me go? Because there's nothing left at all. Stay with me don't let me go until the ashes of eden fall. Heaven above me, take my hand, shine until there's nothing left but you Heaven above me, take my hand and shine until there's nothing left but you. Forgive, sounds good. Forget, I'm not sure I could. They say time heals everything, but I'm still waiting. I'm through with doubt. There's nothing left for me to figure out, I've paid a price, and I'll keep paying.
