He showed the text to Victoria. "Sera's meeting with the detective now. Will he want to see this evidence?"
"Absolutely. And I'll cooperate fully with his investigation. The security footage especially will be crucial for getting the assault and false imprisonment charges dropped against you." Victoria stood. "I should probably reach out to him directly, establish that we're working together. Can you give me his contact information?"
Nathan pulled up Detective Shaw's number and sent it to Victoria. "He seemed fair when I talked to him yesterday. Not someone who'd bow to pressure from a wealthy family."
