The sedan pulled up to the entrance of the Grand Regency Hotel, and Sera's breath caught in her throat. The building rose before them like a palace—gleaming glass and polished stone stretching five stories high. A red carpet ran from the street to the entrance, flanked by pristine topiaries in massive stone planters. Uniformed doormen stood at attention, and through the floor-to-ceiling windows, Sera could see a lobby that sparkled with chandeliers and marble. "Nathan, this is..."
