GAME DAY
CYNTHIA'S POV
Two days later
It was Wednesday, game day.
Jamie had left in the morning for class and after that I would go watch the game.
He was so excited. I could easily tell from the way he moved, singing in the shower and even the way he ate.
"Slow down, you might choke" Lauren told him during breakfast.
He'd woken up earlier than Lauren and they both had breakfast together.
"Can't Aunt I'm eating for both breakfast and lunch. Our game ends at 5 pm"
"Don't they serve lunch at your school cafeteria?" Lauren asked.
"I don't really like what they serve. Feels like prison food " Lauren and I chuckled.
Jamie and Lauren left together. I was beyond happy to see Jamie being so excited. I couldn't wait to see him on the court.
