Amaya's POV:
I didn't want to believe my ears but I knew that would just be foolish since the paper in front of me supported what I had just been told.
“The firm is closing down?” I managed to say in a low voice.
I know that there have been times when I've considered leaving the firm, but I've never taken it seriously. I wouldn't say I watched this firm become what it presently is because it is way older than me.
However, I know that most of the newest changes have been thanks to the little impact that I could give as an employee, so hearing that it might close down was killing me.
It seemed like the firm wasn't even trying to hide it from the public, which was making matters worse since everyone was obviously pulling out their money.
