Clar

A few days have passed and now I am standing on the school podium, ready to give my Valedictory speech. As I finished my speech, my mom and dad were tearing up and Nick stood up from his chair to kiss me on my cheeks.

“I’m so proud of you” Nick whispered in my ears as I jumped into his arms after the graduation ceremony. He spun me around a few times before kissing me deeply.

“Clar! Come here, let me hug my baby girl” my mom giddily said. I hugged my mom and kissed my dad on his cheeks. He kissed the top of my head. “Such a grown woman now, but remember you’re always my little Clarity,” my dad said, almost teary. It is very rare for my dad to be professing his soft side. He is always stern and rough to me but I guess graduations bring out the mush in every Alpha. “I love you, Dad,” I said to him, he returned it with a heartfelt smile, “I love you too, Clar”

I was talking to Nick when suddenly I got pulled and got engulfed in a bear hug. “Clarity! Congratulations. I missed you so much!” I squeaked when I heard his voice. “Oh my god! Jeremy, what are you doing here?” I happily hugged him back. “Well, I couldn’t miss the graduation of my favorite girl!” he grinned as he let me go of his arms. “I missed you t----” my words got cut off when Nick spun me around to face him and kissed me deep and wet. My toes curl from the contact and I wad left panting and red from his steamy kiss. He firmly held my waist as he spun me around again to face Jeremy, his face scrunched and red.

“Would you like to introduce me to him, baby? ”Nick growled lightly. “Sure... Nick this is Jeremy, my childhood friend, Jeremy this is Nick my boyfriend” Nick extended his hands to Jeremy. Jeremy took it “Nice to meet you, Nick”

“It’s Alpha Nick to you” Nick smirked as Jeremy lowered his head. “Apologies, alpha” Jeremy stuttered as he quickly shuffled away, glancing at me with a sorry look on his face. I slapped Nick’s chest “That was very rude,” I said to him, my face scrunching. He pulled me against his chest and whispered seductively against my ear “I thought I made it clear that I don’t want anyone else touching you, my love? Have you forgotten about last time? Get ready my pet, I’m going to remind you later” He snarled and nibbled on my earlobe making me moan as he grabbed my ass.

Fuck. He is going to be the death of me.

After the graduation ceremony, we stopped by our favorite restaurant with Nick and my family. My mom and dad got me a charm bracelet with wolves and tiaras as pendants as well as an all-expense-paid trip to anywhere I wish to go to. Nick got me a beautiful ring. No, it is not an engagement ring, its a promise ring. I it emerald with intricate swirls as a band and it is peppered with diamonds. He said it belonged to his grandma and I was in awe.

After dinner, my mom and dad went home while Nick insisted that we stayed behind so we could talk. We hopped in his car and we sped away to a nearby beach.

“So, what are your next plans?” Nick asked me while we were walking by the shore, barefoot. He is holding my hand as the water lapped at our feet.

“I would really like to go to college but that would mean I have to leave you behind” I honestly answered. I looked at him for a minute and I could feel my heartbreak as I saw his pained face.

“That’s fine, Clar. You can do whatever you want baby and I will support you.” He quietly answered. He pulled me to his chest as I nestled my head comfortably against his heart. Can I really leave him? Can I endure not being in his arms?

“Babe..” I softly said as I realized that this man would gladly sacrifice not being with me so I can reach my dreams. But he is my dream, he is my everything.

I tiptoed to reach him and I kissed him with all of me. I poured everything into that kiss. He sighed contentedly as he snaked his arms around my waist. After a minute of kissing, I pulled away for air and smile stupidly at him.

“Don’t worry baby, I won’t leave you,” I said as I kissed him again.
