“I want to see mommy now!” Cassandra Nikola whined at her father who is sitting impatiently in a big brown couch in the lobby of a big hospital.
Nick nodded and patted his daughter’s head, “ Yes I want to see mommy too but do you remember what the nurses said? We have to wait here okay? You want mommy to do well, do you?”
Cassandra pouted and flashed her biggest grin. No one would dare say no to that pouty grin. No one but the head nurse that is.
“Daddy! What’s taking so long?” Cassandra jumped up and down. Nick sighed and seated his 5-year-old daughter in his lap. He gently shushed her and calmed her down by slowly swaying her. Soon enough, Cassandra fell asleep.
Nick hated waiting. Most especially now. He hates waiting for his wife in times like these. Soon enough
