Summer POV
The Alpha General arrived to inspect the damage done to the property. He brought Henrietta too. She just came up from the dungeon where she collected samples from Sophia’s cursed wolf. A group of betas was sent out to make sure Dimitri and his goons hadn’t attacked the locals.
“How many casualties on our side?” Dad asked.
“Three,” Ezra replied. “Dozens injured.”
Since Noah was a High Beta he was entitled to a dignified farewell with the entire Pack present. That’s what most Packs did I didn’t think Ezra’s would be any different. I still couldn’t believe he was gone. He was the quieter one of Ezra’s betas but he was loyal, trustworthy and dedicated. Oliver wasn’t taking this well. He was out for blood. Wherever Hunter was I knew he was hurting too for more than just the pain
