Summer POV
“Don’t worry he’ll be fine. I didn’t realize my strength but I removed whatever dark spell was rooted in him.”
Ezra and Hunter with Estelle arrived ten minutes ago. They hauled Dad upstairs to his room. Rachel and her family cleared out before Ezra arrived. Good, I didn’t want to deal with them ever again.
Dad hadn’t woken up though he was breathing easily.
I nodded and rubbed my eyes, itching to spill tears.
“There’s something else though,” Hunter rubbed the back of his head.
“What?” Estelle asked before I could.
“I…uh… look I didn’t know it would happen!”
“Spit it out Hunter,” Ezra growled. Ezra placed his hand on my shoulder and massaged it.
“I couldn’t heal him without taking something from him it’s how my powers work. So I took his rank. He’s not an Alpha anymore.”
