We worked at the pack house again the next day. There was still a lot of unpacking and a lot of flowers to take care of. I barely saw Ezra today. When I did see him I couldn’t help hold his stare a little longer. The urges to hold him and kiss him were strong but we couldn’t do that out in the open. We needed the shadows to keep us safe at least for now. Lettie sighed heavily as she settled on the floor next to me. I couldn’t wash any more dishes.
