“I’m out with the girls,” I told Ezra through our link.
The ringing sound was faint and it didn’t hurt. My wolf felt strong but there was still a disconnect between us like she separated from me sometimes and came back.
“What happened to turning in early?” he responded.
“After I learned your Aunt didn’t want us together.”
Silence on the other end.
“I’m the Alpha. I decide who I mate with not her.”
“Still would have been nice to know you have an Aunt who hates me.”
