Day Three of my self imposed isolation. peanut butter has run out. I still have jelly but that's absolutely it. classes don't start for another three days and the cafeteria wont open until then either. Fucking brilliant. I'm debating with myself whether or not its worth it going out and making a mad dash to the convenience store down the street to stock up on food. As much as I wish I could hold out, the pain in my stomach ends up winning the fight. I throw my thick black hair into a low pony tail and get dressed, throwing on a pair of black shorts and a hoodie. on the way out I pull up my hood and grab my sunglasses to cover my face.     I speed walk the entire time while staring intently at the ground, not making eye contact with anyone. I finally make it to the convenience store ans the store clerk gives me the side eye as I walk in. I don't pay him any mind because who wouldn't be suspicious of someone running into there store with their hood up and sunglasses on. I go about the store quickly grabbing the bare necessities and get to the counter to pay. Check out seems to take the longest amount of time ever. I keep glancing at the door expecting to see the wolf show up to drag me back to my pack at any second. At long last the clerk finally finishes and I pay. Dash out the store and speed walk the entire five minute walk back to my dorm while trying to hold myself back from out right sprinting. I don't want to draw anymore unwanted attention to myself by running like a mad women through the streets.     I finally make it to my buildings door and heave a sigh of relief as I unlock it. I barely get the door open two inches before a large and reaches over my head and slams the door shut again. Fuuuucckk     I don't have to look back to know who is standing there. I can feel the heat coming off him on my back and the hairs on my neck stand on end. How didn't I notice him come up behind me? he mus have been following me the entire and I didn't sense him at all. My senses must be more dulled than I originally thought. The bags in my hands feel heavier now that I'm in this position and I'm debating with myself whether or not its worth it to drop them and make a run for it. If it worked and I escaped I could probably convince Renata to let me bum on her couch for a few days. I don't have enough time to think over this plan before he speaks.     "Do you have any idea how hard it was to track you down?" his voice was deeper than I expected and smooth. It sent a shiver down my spine that I tried to hide but I think he noticed. I don't bother responding to him because I know why he's here. I try to place my bags down slowly to prepare to run but before i can set them down he grabs them form my hand using his free one causing our hands to brush up against each other. A shock of electricity shoots up from the place they touch confirming my worst fears.     I hate my life.     He uses the hand he originally had on the door and turns me around slowly by my shoulder. he pulls down my hood and snatches the sun glasses off my face and I'm forced to look into his eyes, once again getting captured by their color and this time by his overwhelming sent that is now filling my nose. "How about we go inside and talk, Mate~" cheeky bastard *Aster's P.O.V.*     I had just finished up signing a non aggression agreement with some of the nearby packs in exchange for them handing over parts of the land over to my pack. Sometimes the threat of war is a better bargaining tool than war itself.     The agreement was supposed to be done and signed over a year ago but at the time a young she wolf had run away from one of the packs involved causing for a complete lock down of their borders and the borders of the surrounding packs who were also involved in the agreement. No one was allowed in or out causing negotiations to be put on hold. This delay caused so much tension that I had to go in and do the negotiating myself. A pain in the ass and all this because some she wolf wanted to go rogue.     As I"m walking back to my hotel I came across a cafe that had a strange smell. It wasn't bad, instead in drew me in to the point that I decided to stop in. I texted my driver the change of meeting point and called my assistant so she knew to pack up my things in the hotel for me and meet me at the airport.     I get a coffee and take a seat in the corner with  view of the door an my back to the wall. Years of fighting has kept me on my toes and I don't like to keep my back open.     As I'm sitting there I hear a commotion happening at the front counter. I look over and see a women screaming at the barista, something about not adding enough milk. I start to get up to leave. As interested as I was by the smell of the place, I didn't want to have to listen to the useless shouting.     Just as I'm getting up a woman comes marching through the door. Her hair falling free behind her down to her hips in a thick mass of black curls and waves. Her face perfectly framed showing off her pale sharp features. Her scent is very faint but I can tell immediately shes a wolf and its her smell that drew me into the cafe.  She makes a beeline for the counter and gets there in time to stop the screaming customer from throwing the hot coffee in the barista's face. In the struggle she was burned by the coffee splashing on her arm. Without thinking I rush over and slap the coffee out of the screaming woman's hand right before she tried to throw it in the she wolf's face. I place myself between the two of them. A part of me feeling extremely protective over her.     In the time it took for the entire altercation to go down, the barista from before was able to get the manager. The manager comes over and stands between me and the now cowering woman who seems to realize the situation she's in. The barista grabs the girl form behind me and sits her down while she puts what I assume is a cold towel on her burned arm. Before I can follow after them the manager starts asking for my side of the story for when the police gets there. He keeps spouting off words like store liability and customer service. Bullshit probably to keep anyone from filing a complaint.     The entire time he was talking at me I was watching the she wolf from the corner of my eye and listened in on what they were saying. From the way they were talking they seemed to know each other well. That explains her scent being all over the store as faint as her scent is. I could barely smell the wolf in her, it must have been months since she last shifted at least which begs the question why.     She finally looks up and points at me making eye contact. Her face freezes and i can see the fear set in as she finally realizes what I am. She stands up and whisper something to her friend but I can barely make it out with the women now sobbing in the corner and the manager still rattling off in my ear.     She runs for the door while her friend calls out her name in a panic. Amelia. Just hearing it makes my chest feel tight. I try to follow but the manager grabs my arm stopping me. Something about waiting for the police to make a statement. I shake him off but by the time I look back she's gone.     When I finally escape the grasps of the clingy manager she's disappeared. I try to follow the scent but its obvious she doesn't want to be found from how thoroughly shes covered her tracks. It's too bad for her that she's captured my attention. I look at my phone to see the missed calls from my driver and messages from my assistant. My flight had been the farthest thing from my mind in the chaos. I call my assistant and tell her to cancel all my appointments and flights for the next week and a half. I plan on having this settle quickly. My next call is my head of security. I have him send over trackers and gather info on the elusive she wolf.     I book a new hotel that's closer to the cafe so ic an stay in the area. In the morning my head of security updates me with the information he could find on her. He was able to confirm that she normally worked in the cafe, that explains her scent being so strong there, and that she was an incoming student at the nearby university.     I have the men who stayed behind with me from the negotiations start searching the area starting at the cafe focusing on all the nearby dorms and apartments in the area known to house students that are in walking distance. She had arrived and left on foot so she couldn't be too far from here. She hasn't shifted in a long time so this would also limit her physical abilities.     By the second day of searching we had narrowed in down between two places, a dorm on campus and an apartment that was right above an convenience store. both a ten minute walk from the cafe. besides the cafe, her scent was the strongest in these two places.     I was becoming impatient and had men station at all the exits to both locations as well as scattered around the city and campus in case she was hiding out somewhere else. I myself was standing walking towards the convenience store to check with the men stationed there when I saw I smelled her scent in the air. much stronger than it had been in the last two days. She's near. I make a start for the store when I see her bolt out of there with bags in her hand. she has her face covered but there's no doubt its her. That rules out the apartment so she must be heading for the dorms. Did no one notice her leave?!     Note to self: Hire better security     I trail behind her trying to keep my distance but I doubt she can smell me or she probably would have started running by now. She stops at the door to her dorm and i walk up behind her. she sighs in relief as she opens the door and something about her being relived by not seeing me irks the hell out of me. I slam my hand on the door forcing it shut again and she freezes. "Do you have any idea how hard it was to track you down?"
