I woke up alone, the source to me waking up was knocks on the door.

I got up and opened it, there stood one of the guards.

"Yes?" I asked, "Mr. J has gone out for a few hours and he has asked me to keep you company" he simply said, 'that doesn't seem like something that Joker would do'.

"Sure, come in" I said and opened the door wider, I couldn't just say no and kick him out.

I closed the door after him, he sat on the chair at the back of the room, I leaned up against the wall.

"Did he say where he was going?" I asked shyly , "to get more money, he said he wanted to give you a big surprise" I smiled, 'I like suprises', I sighed.

"What's your name?" I said, "Alex" he spoke, after awhile I spoke, "why did you join ...the Joker?", "I needed money for my family...I had trouble with the law, so this seemed like the only option" he looked sad.

He suddenly stood up, making me flinch.

"Do you still want to leave? I remember your escape incident" He asked, I lowered my head, "I can get you out, we can go together, stay together until we go our separate ways?" He looked excited with the plan he just came up with.

He grabbed my shoulders, making me feel like a child, "what do ya say?"

"..Some other time.." I whispered, he frowned, "d-don't tell me- don't tell me you actually like him?" He raised his voice.

"I-I dont know" I shrugged my shoulders, he grabbed my chin which forced me to look into his brown eyes.

"He killed your family, tortured you and tricked you to loving him, you're just a toy- a pet! to him!" He shouted.

"Look, we are leaving now, you'll thank me later", he threw me over his shoulder.

"NOO NO NO NOO LET ME GO, PUTTTT MEEEE DOWNNN!" I screamed to the top of my lungs, I was screaming so much that no one noticed Jokers car pulling up in the driveway.

Alex walked out the door, me still screaming and kicking.

"s**t" and there was a gunshot, I screamed more as Alex's body went limp and fell to the ground, "what the hell (Y/N)!" Joker said, helping me stand up on my feet, "he tried to take me away!" I said as i wrapped my arms around Joker.

He stood there for a second, gun in hand still and looking quite confused "and you didn't want to go?" He looked down to me, "why would I want to go" I said "you're all I have left" hugging him tighter, Joker grinned, he started chuckling, which turned into a laugh.

He had you right where he wanted you.
