We got back to the Jokers place and I ran into my room and had a shower, it felt so good to change into clean clothes.
I walked out side my room and found the Joker 'now that I think of it, I've never been exploring this huge place, I only know the way outside from my room'. I thought and walked up to the Joker "hey! All clean? Good" I nodded, he walked me to a room and it was full, I mean the whole room was full of money, "what the-" I said shocked, I stopped because men came in and dumped the money Joker got today.
"Why do you need all this money?" I asked and he chuckled, he looked at me and bent down, making me taller than him, "power!" He said and sprung up, making me flinch.
"And I get to give you gifts!" He smiled and pulled out a small box from god knows where.
"Open it" he smiled.
I slowly took the lid off the box and looked inside.
"Ahh!" I jumped back and the Joker laughed.
"What? Isn't he cute? What's wrong with snakes?" He put his hand in the box and pulled out the small snake.
"Nothing's wrong with them I just-" I looked at him.
"Why would you do that?!" I said, confused, "what? Did I scare you?" He asked, his smile fading.
"I thought it would be something nice.. like a ring or a necklace, something a normal person would give, NOT A SNAKE!" I yelled and instantly regretted it.
He frowned and raised his hand.
*Slap!*
He slapped me so hard across the face it threw me to the floor.
He towered over me and bent down, pulling on my hair, "speak to me like that again and I'll hurt you, really, really bad". He dropped me and walked out the room, "I'M SORRY!" I yelled and hoped it caught him.
Suddenly I saw a hand reach out to me and I grabbed it, they pulled me up and it was Joker, "I didn't mean to s-say those mean things to you" I said.
He looked foward and walked with me, "just don't say it again" he said quietly.
I pulled his arm around me and continued to walk with him.
He slowly got out of the bad mood I put him in.
