Cody was ready for Andie to arrive home for lunch on Wednesday. Not that he was waiting for her exactly, but he prepared himself for it. After avoiding her Tuesday and acting like an i***t Monday, he wanted to show her he could be a normal guy.
The siding was gone and his crew was taking the windows out of the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. After lunch, they would yank the downstairs windows out, then get everything covered in new housewrap and put the windows back in. It was going to be a long day, but they needed to get the house sealed back up before they left for the evening.
Andie waved as she went inside. Cody waved back, knowing she would keep going. After lunch, she’d head back to work and he wouldn’t see her again until the next day.
He was just happy his guys had stopped
