Dear diary, Today was my fourteenth birthday. My dad always gives me a type of poem and, this year was no different, this is what it said. "My dear daughter now one year older your life now made with a new story while walk shining with glory." It is lovely right? But, i happen to hear that we(me, mom and, dad) will be moving soon. I think it is New York, dad had got a job at a car place to work as a mechanic or whatever. I do not want to move but, this may be the start of a new story or chapter in my life, I just hope that my life will be no different to how it is now. However, I except a big change I mean I am moving to a big city, that is a big change compared to where I am now in Kentucky. Mom usually tells me that making a change can be very hard but, making a change can also show me something that can be better than when I first started. I wonder if people will act different in New York , I know the streets will be full of people like in the movies i have seen. And will the other children be nice at my new school? I guess i will find out. Rily.
