“What? Is that supposed to be a joke?” William grabbed his own drink. The hours of preparing for a damn party are taking a toll on him. He is already hungry even though they are not at the party yet. “Change is inevitable. Everybody is bound to change, no one is exempted.”
“Okay… I’ll just take your words as they are. Let’s just eat our dinner.”
He nods his head and bites another chicken nugget. The ride is smooth sailing but he is not accustomed to eating while taking a ride, so he decided to eat his chicken nuggets with his bare hands instead of using plastic utensils. Reina is not saying anything because she’s also eating her fries, doesn’t care about the oil and grease on her fingers, just enjoying all of it.
