Kane couldn't find the words to explain to Tracker what had happened to him. He had to admit though, from what he knew of his friend he didn't deserve this treatment. From the sounds of it, it was a one-time thing. Did he find his mate in the Hawthorne Pack? He had only asked for Jade to join with him. Tracker was certainly an enigma.
"Is she local?" Kane asked trying to imagine why someone would do that to Tracker. "We could let her join the pack if you want." His wheels were turning that maybe, this was the cause of some of Tracker's melancholy.
