I didn’t know who to blame for the cluster f**k of a situation I found myself in.
Sireen? That would be the easiest, but it could also have been Mom or Grandma Lily. Or was it the three of them altogether? Whoever it was, they had successfully screwed me over.
Mom couldn’t convince me to apologize to Sireen for throwing her out, the same way I couldn’t convince her not to re-hire her.
In her words, “This is your grandmother’s house, and you have no authority over anyone here. If it’s too much trouble for you, you can easily pack your things and come back home.”
