Sireen’s POV “Okay, this is a really bad idea,” I say, pacing inside a small invincible circle, and I watch with my heart on the tip of my tongue as Lily bends over a bed of green beans. “I think we should go back inside,” I urge, but just like she has done the last three times I suggested she return to bed, she waves me away. “No offense, Sireen girl, but before Elowen chattered and brought you here, I didn’t give a damn about these medicines. I gave a damn about my books and my plants, and I watered said plants every day. I also harvested my produce myself.
