Sireen’s POV “Will you be okay on your own for a few minutes? I should say hi to some old faces.” Mom links a palm through mine and I turn to face her, breaking my gaze with Enzo's otherworldly eyes. I nod. “Yeah. We’ll catch up,” I say, and Mom confirms from me again with her eyes, and only when I give her a reassuring smile does she unlink our hands to leave. She doesn’t go far before she’s stopped by two female pack shifters and they start to exchange pleasantries. I’m sure that a whole lot of people are shocked by our appearance here today, but they don’t make a spectacle out of it. The only place where that would hold is in school and I can thank the lights that not many students from the pack’s campus are here right now. I turn away from Mom and look back where I saw Enzo seconds
