The distance between our body's started growing and he slowly drifted apart from me.
" I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that"
Why was he apologizing?
Did he regret doing it?
Or maybe he didn't like it?
However I couldn't bring myself to ask him these questions, I stood there in utter silence, following his every move.
He brushed his hair with his fingers and then placed them over his face he looked anxious and nervous. A moment later he stood in front of me.
" I'm really sorry Emily let's just forget what Happened" his words were pleasing yet his eyes showed a different emotion that I couldn't identify.
I was completely lost one second I felt like the most wanted woman in this world and the next I felt like a horrible mistake that must be forgotten. I didn't have the strength to say anything, even though I was mad at him for acting the way he did, at myself for letting him take advantage of me.
If he thinks this was a mistake then I shouldn't waste my time on him either.
So I just nod. Not saying a word and I went to my room in an attempt to fall asleep, something that didn't happen.
When I saw the first ray of sunshine I hurried out of the house leaving him a note :
I'm going home
It was early in the morning and the roads were still empty but luckily I have a friend like Kat. I called her earlier and told her to come to pick me up. While I was waiting for her I started thinking that it's probably time to invest in a car however my job was not secured, I mean what if he decided after last night to fire me, that's why I have to forget that last night ever happened if I want to keep my job.
" You better have a good reason for dragging me all the way here" I didn't notice Kat whose car was already in front of me.
I got in and savored the warmth inside the car.
" I'll tell you everything, but let's go now " surprisingly she didn't push it and started the car.
"What do you mean he said forget about it?"
Of course, I was wrong, the second we left the area, Kat fired me with her questions, and let me tell you, she. won't.stop.until.she.gets.answers.
So I had to tell her everything, and just like me she didn't like what happened
" I don't know Kat, I told you what happened" I was as confused as her.
" And what are you going to do, talk to him or do something?"
" No, I need this job, and to keep it I might have to forget just like he said, but I swear from now on he'll see a new me I'll only be a very professional assistant and I won't let him come close" I'm not someone he can use then throw away.
" girl I don't know, I hope your willpower is as big as your words" Kat was kind of right he might be really charming and hot but I'm not giving up.
We talked a few more before we arrived at the house, and all though I didn't sleep the night before, I was still not sleepy but I knew it would hit me during some part of the day.
When Lily woke up we also told her what happened, she said it would be better if I quit, however, I needed the job and I'm not giving up because of anyone.
When I went to work I tried to look my best and be very calm, but as I was approaching the building my heart was pounding fast.
Will I see him today?
Will he talk to me?
How should I act?
Can I do this?
Question after question was filling my mind.
I took a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
I got into the elevator, and as the doors were about to close I heard someone scream
"Hold it"
And so I did, a man came in and said thank you. He was a bit of a giant like the boss, with dark blonde hair and blue eyes he looked pretty fit even through the clothes. If I was being honest he. Was. Freaking. hot.
What the hell is this company for? Modeling?
" You new here " I heard him say.
" Yeah actually I just started recently" why was being shy
" Figured, a beautiful face like yours can't go without being noticed" I gave a shy smile and said thanks
" So what do you do here?"
" I'm Mr. Wilson's PA"
"Oh so you're up there with the beast" you got that right he was a beast.
" What about you?"
As I asked him the elevator door opened and we both came out, I just come to notice that he is on the same floor as me. He took a few steps forward and then turned to face me, he took my hand and gave me a light kiss he smiled
" You can say I'm the second beast" he winked at me and then started walking again.
I was in complete shock.
