LUCAS P. O. V.
Right now I am sitting on the couch in the Miller's mansion. Mr. Daniel sitting across from me while his wife serving us tea.
Today is the day that I am going to propose my marriage proposal to my would to be father in law to give me his beloved daughters hand.
I have been thinking about her ever since she had come to my office.
I am here to fulfill my promise to her. The words I said in her ears back then.
Now my eyes are roaming around the mansion in search of my butterfly.
When suddenly Mr. Daniel's cough brought back my attention.
He said "Me. Lucas I am honored to have you as my guest. Can you tell me the purpose of your arrival? "
I was going to answer when my eyes caught a petite figure walking downstairs.
You can guess with your eyes blind folded that who it was.
When our eyes met each other in the air, I saw her stop in her steps. I saw surprise in her hazel eyes. I know she didn't expect me to be here.
But than again the surprise change into stubbornness, than I saw her walking towards us. A smirk formed on my lips.
Soon I will replace this stubbornness with fear and will make her submissive , I thought in my mind.
She sat with her father looking straight into my eyes as if challenging me of my power.
But she doesn't know that she is challenging the devil.
What I said next broke her in cold sweat.
Without breaking our eye contact I stated to her father. " Mr. Miller my time is very important for me so I won't beat around the bush, I am here to propose my marriage proposal for your beloved daughter Amara. "
AMARA P. O. V.
Today when I saw him in our house, I was literally surprised. My mind was unable to process for a while the fact that he came here.
But, I am not a coward, And furthermore this is my house why should I hide from him?
Than I harden my heart and gave him a challenging look.
My breath hitched up after hearing what he said. I mean what does he thinks of himself? I'm going to marry Eden not him.
Then my father replied him saying. " Sorry Mr. Lucas I appreciate your straightforwardness, But my daughters wedding is already been fixed with someone she likes. So, Even if we approve of you, she is still not gonna marry you because she loves someone else. "
After my dad finished what he had to say. I looked at him to be shocked by the blood thirsty look in his deep brown eyes as if he is gonna eat me alive any time now.
I was waiting for him to Explode but after few seconds he got up and then left without saying a word.
I let out a long sigh of relief. It is now that I discovered that I was have been holding my breath ever since I saw him.
But I was relief thinking that from now he won't pester me again. But to my utter dismay he was planning something in his evil brain.
