** SCOTT’S POV **
My heart sank.
She couldn’t possibly know about the accident unless Keith spoke to her.
But there was no way Keith could speak to her; she didn’t know him. Or does she?
Keith wouldn’t even speak to me.
“ What do you mean by that? Nothing happened, and you know it!” I shot back at her in a bid to get her spilling what she knew.
She chuckled coldly, “ Well then, I’m sure your dad would be disappointed to find out his golden son has done something that might dent his future.”
I stood rooted to a spot, with a million questions running through my mind.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t figure out how she knew about the accident.
Or was she talking about something different?
“ I’ll go with you guys to the function, hope you’re happy now”, I grumbled with a slump
