Nixx The sedan left North Town at three seventeen. Benny picked it up first through a traffic-camera feed near the county line. I was already parked six miles east in a borrowed work van with magnetic plumbing signs on both doors and enough tools in the back to make the lie convincing. My phone vibrated once. Benny: Heading your way. I watched the road through the side mirror instead of turning my head. The gray sedan appeared four minutes later, moving exactly at the speed limit. A woman drove.
