JJ A separate, quieter thought arrived right behind it. Maybe a useful problem. My gaze drifted to the contact saved with the little dandelion puff emoji. The anonymous number sat a few lines beneath Nixx’s in my recent messages, and the sight of it tightened my stomach in a completely different way.
