JJ The dandelion was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes. For several sleepy seconds, I simply lay there staring at it on the nightstand while pale morning light filtered through the curtains. The resin caught the sun differently than it had beneath the lamp the night before, turning the delicate white seeds into something almost golden.
