Chapter 14
LANA CRAWLED BETWEEN the seats, but the man had already seen her.
He called out to his mates and two of them came into the bus, too.
“Go away, leave me alone!” Lana crawled away from them, but she already sat with her back against the side of the bus, and there was nowhere to go.
He grabbed for her foot, and she kicked at him; but he managed to get hold of her ankle and pulled her across the wet and disgusting floor.
“Hey, let go of me. Viki! Viki! Help!”
The man laughed. He grabbed her arm.
Lana tried to hit and kick him, but he dragged her forward. Her shin painfully connected with one of the benches in the bus.
“Viki, Viki, help!”
