LUNA JILLIAN  I wrapped my arms around Margaret, pulling her into a tight hug. My beautiful daughter. My perfect daughter. She had done what no one else in this pack had done—shifted into a black wolf, a sign of strength and greatness. “I am so proud of you, my love,” I whispered, stroking her hair. “You have no idea how happy you’ve made me.” Margaret smiled, her eyes shining with confidence. “I told you, Mother. I was meant to be great.” Alpha Victor stepped forward and placed his hand on Margaret’s shoulder before pulling her into a firm hug. “You have made this pack proud, Margaret.” His voice was strong, filled with pride. “Tonight is your night.” Margaret lifted her chin, enjoying every second of the attention. I turned to the guests, all of them watching us with admiration.
