"So, you are the smart one who saw everything aren't you?" Daryl shuddered at the voice, a silhouette shadowed him, the figure that addressed him held a walking stick. "So tell me, what did you see?"
"I didn't..." Daryl kept stammering, something had ripped off his left leg, but there was no blood. Daryl discovered he felt no pain either but he just couldn't move, there was no strength within him whatsoever, he lay like a lifeless body struggling to speak.
"Henceforth, you will learn not to meddle with business you don't understand..." The figure smirked and raised his staff, bloodlust emanating from him. "When I make a hole in your brain with my staff!" That instant, the figure struck with his staff and Daryl blacked out.
Daryl sprung awoke, he looked around and discovered that he was in his room, under the sheets actually. It was all a dream, like the same series of bad dreams he had been having for days.
His eyes were swollen, he walked into the shower frustrated, he had not had a good night sleep for days. He still had the premonition that a figure lurked around him, something sinister and as silent as a shadow. The past few days for him har been really terrible.
As soon as he was done, he went straight to the kitchen to get his breakfast. His parents and sibling were already at the table, the entire family was just the four of them.
"Daryl, you don't look so good. Had the dreams again?" His mother asked, she could always tell when something was wrong with him. Daryl nodded in affirmation and took his seat.
"Well what can we do to help, we don't know the dreams you have in the first place." That was Tiana, Daryl's younger sister. "Maybe if you shared it with us, we would be able to help you."
"Quit being so mean to your brother." Their mother quickly retorted. "It will be fine Daryl, just make sure to take your drugs before heading to bed. You'll be fine." She smiled.
"So, why do we have to leave with you guys again?" Tiana asked her parents, she hated leaving Saferinn, particularly with her parents.
"We agreed on this already Tiana, help me out Tom!" She called out to her husband.
"It's just for today honey, you get to enjoy your break as from tomorrow." He quickly rose from the table avoiding further discussion. "Alright, your mum will be late if we don't leave now." He walked out of the room.
Tiana followed with hesitation, Daryl rushed back to his room to get a few things. He was excited, he would finally get to leave Saferinn since the incident. He wouldn't be able to move around much but, he could still get a few things done. As soon as he got to his door however, the door creaked open of it's own accord, before Daryl attempted to turn the knob.
It seemed a bit bizzare but Daryl walked in anyways and got his bagpack ready as soon as he turned his blinds and the entire room got dark he felt a breeze behind him and the door shut. He was frightened, his heart started racing but he maintained his countenance. He patiently awaited whatever would happen, but nothing came.
"Guess it was my mind all along." Daryl shrugged and walked out the door, locking it shut behind him.
In a dark corner two eyes opened, they were as red as blood with a slit within. The dark room was quickly lighted dimly by the eyes that looked like lazers.
