By the time Michaela's training session was about to conclude, Elijah and Joana had purchased a whole host of baby supplies. Elijah insisted on buying the bassinet anyway, as well as anything else the baby might need. Although Joana thought it was a bit irresponsible for him to spend so much on certain items, she figured that he knew what he was doing, and she didn't argue any further. Besides, she couldn't help but feel happy to spoil their future child as well.
They picked Michaela up after training, and then Elijah pulled out of the parking lot and began driving in the opposite direction of the penthouse.
"Um, daddy?" Michaela called from the back seat, twisting in her car seat to look intensely out the window. "I think you're going the wrong way."
