Erwin dropped Michaela and Joana off at the penthouse. Standing on the sidewalk, Joana had just made a commitment to Erwin about attending his art exhibit. However, as she glanced back and noticed Elijah standing in the doorway, she regretted her promise. Elijah stormed towards them, taking Michaela by the hand and giving Joana a stern look before stooping down to glare at Erwin through the car window.
"How many times must I reiterate to you to refrain from visiting my home?" Elijah growled. Before Erwin could respond, Elijah turned on his heel and proceeded inside, with Michaela hastening to keep pace on her petite legs.
"What is troubling you, Elijah?" Joana called out, trailing after him. "The regular driver was held up in traffic. Surely, you can't be that upset-"
