Elijah stood in the hallway, swaying slightly back and forth, his steely gaze unfocused as he confronted Joana. Despite his recent return, he already clutched a glass of whiskey in his hand - a drink he appeared to have poured immediately upon entering through the door. "Why aren't you in my room?" he grumbled, the pungent scent of whiskey lingering on his breath. Taking a step back, Joana wrinkled her nose at the strong smell. "I waited for you for two hours, but you never showed up," she explained. "I assumed you wouldn't be home tonight." Elijah fell silent for a moment before deciding, "Well, I'll sleep in here then."
