Chapter 5
Cam sat in Maggie’s condo talking on the speaker phone to her boss.
“This opened up a whole train of thought,” Cam reported. “If Ruth Tarlow is involved, we may have found the link from the laundry supply to the prison. She knew all about it. She was smart. I can see her setting this up from inside. This Blake Alexander seems to be the link to Tarlow.”
“Well, it’s possible,” admitted Dickey which was what she and Pauly called their boss, Richard C. Deems, Head of Covert Operations for the DEA. Of course, they never used it to his face.
“It seems that Cam’s cover worked very well,” Maggie said. She too was on the conference call. “This is another answer falling into your lap.”
“This Ruth Tarlow…she was one of the ones caught in the sting, wasn’t she?” Deems asked, to be sure.
