Kael glanced at the divorce agreement and a few cards in his hand, feeling annoyed - he just thought she was throwing a tantrum, but she really dared!
"Are you serious?" He suppressed his anger and squeezed out a few words.
Elara raised his eyebrows carelessly, "It's easier than steaming cakes. Sign it, and go to complete the formalities when you have time another day."
Kael looked steadily at his wife in front of him.
In the three years of marriage, she has always been a very qualified Mrs. Holmes ll. She is well-behaved, obedient, and very kind to his family. She is even more attentive to him.
But now, she seems to have become a different person.
Looking at her fair and rosy face, she is filled with impatience that is completely different from before, and the words that come out of her rosy red lips are like ice, and she really can't wait to leave him.
Kael felt a stab in his heart, and quickly retracted his gaze, turned around and walked into the living room. A cold voice came, "No need to change the date, see you at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning."
Elara thought she was ready, but when the moment came, she found that her heart was still stabbing, like thousands of needles, half of her body was numb, and she didn't know how it came out. She
returned to the studio in a daze, and lay on the bed, and then she realized that her stomach was rolling and hurting.
She covered her mouth and rushed into the bathroom to vomit out all the food and drinks she had eaten and drunk that night. The pain in her stomach did not ease, but became more burning.
Elara had stomach problems, and every time the pain came, it was terrible, but she hadn't had it for a long time, so she had healed the scar and forgot the pain. When she moved out, she didn't even bring stomach medicine. When she walked from the bathroom to the bed, she had a layer of cold sweat on her back, and endured the pain to call Fiona.
Fiona was sleeping soundly and couldn't hear anything at all.
She was afraid that she would die of pain tonight, and after hesitating again and again, she still called Kael.
No one answered the first time.
The second call was picked up after two rings. The soft voice on the other end was Zanya. "Hello? Who is this?"
He was alone when he came out of the apartment just now.
In a moment, he was with Zanya
Elara felt that she was out of her mind and wanted to ask for help from Kael.
Seeing that she didn't speak, the other end asked tentatively, "Is this Elara? Are you looking for Kael?"
Elara didn't want to hear the nonsense that Kael was taking a shower, so she hung up the phone directly, curled up on the carpet, frowned, and blacklisted all of Kael's contact information.
After putting down the phone, her eyes went dark and she passed out.
The next morning, Elara was woken up by Fiona.
She was still in her pajamas, and it was obvious that she had rushed here without even having time to change her clothes. She felt guilty and blamed herself, "Did you have a stomachache? It's all my fault. I slept too soundly yesterday and didn't hear your call."
Elara didn't care. He sat up with a start and asked immediately, "What time is it?"
"Nine o'clock."
Elara's mind buzzed.
It's over.
"I made an appointment with Kael to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to handle the divorce procedures at nine o'clock."
Kael hated people being late the most.
Elara picked up the phone that fell on the carpet and quickly called Kael.
The phone rang once and hung up automatically.
He also blocked her.
Elara was so quick to block Kael last night, and he was so cowardly today that he dragged him out of the blacklist and made a voice call.
When the call was connected, she politely but distantly probed, "Are you still at the Civil Affairs Bureau? I'll be there now."
Kael cold voice came through the receiver, "You mean, let me wait for you at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau for half an hour?"
Elara was at fault, and did not give herself any explanation. While getting up and changing clothes, she apologized to the phone, "Sorry, I'll try to be quick, 20 minutes, okay?"
Kael was cold and angry: "Do you think my time is as worthless as yours?"
