Maya POV Maya's point of view For our meal, I was making butter chicken with rice. When the doorbell rang, I assumed it was Amber who had arrived. Mr. Zack Reynold was there in front of me when I opened the door. Her unexpected entrance caught me off guard. He handed me a file while looking grumpy. “I've come to give you this file since mom has instructed me to do so,” he stated dryly. It's urgent for her, and you should read it right away.” I nodded and flipped through the file's pages. Not only that, but I could feel his concentrated attention on my body, so I took another glance at myself. My pink kurti and pants made me nervous. After that, I hurriedly half-closed the door and hid behind it. He sighed and reached for his phone, dialing his mother's number. Similarly, he put the phone on speaker and Mrs. Rose stated, "Maya, I'm sorry to bother you, but you have to complete these papers tomorrow." “Yes, Madam, I will finish it,” I said her. He hung up the phone and returned to his black SUV. I entered the room and placed the file on the table. When the bell sounded once more, I assumed Mr. Zack had forgotten something. As a result, I rushed to open the door. Amber was standing with her stuff when I arrived. “Why are you in such a hurry?” she inquired, raising her eyebrows. “Nothing,” I shrugged as I replied to her, “I thought Mr. Zack come again.” Her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened. Her hand let go of the bag, which fell to the ground. “Mr. Zack Reynold, the famous billionaire had come to our door to step,” she said after a few minutes. She began to bounce with delight when I nodded my head. “He was my boss son,” I rolled my eyes and said to her. As a result, she needs to deliver some critical files to repair it in time for the meeting tomorrow.” “He is very attractive and rich too; and I have heard that he donates thousands of dollars every year to the cancer patient,” she murmured chillingly as she sat on the sofa. I was listening to her while preparing dinner. It felt different from my thoughts to the way he looked at me. I clear my head and focus on the task at hand. Amber was gushing about his virtues. We exited the clothes shop, and I proceeded to the washroom, while Amber proceeded to the dining. As a result, I rode the elevator to the first floor. Meanwhile, the lift had come to a halt on the third story, with Mr. Zack Reynold inside with a young lady. He gave me a shrug, as if he knew who I was. I was likewise ignoring him while looking through my phone. He was dressed in his normal black Armani suit, while she wore a short, tight mini skirt that exposed her breasts and legs. She was trying to get too close to Mr. Zack, but he was uninterested. The lift then paused on the second floor, and a girl named Liza exited the lift with Mr. Zack pecking on his lips. He was shocked by her kiss, but he did not appear. Finally, we were both left alone in the lift. The lift came to a halt on the first floor, but the lights abruptly went out, and the lift was struck as well. When I tried to call Amber, there was no network available. When we were trapped in the lift, my pulse skittered rapidly, and I jumped at an unexpected touch from Mr. Zack. Despite the fact that we couldn't see one other, he takes my hand in his. He let go of his grip as I began counting one, two, three. “What are you doing?” he questioned. “It's a method to settle your nerves for the darkness,” I explained. “Do you also have a phobia of darkness?” he asked, humming. “No, but everyone has gloom in their lives, and I utilized this approach to calm myself,” I moaned. People were waiting for our assistance when the lights turned on and the lift door opened. We were given water and allowed to relax for a time. Amber then raced over to me and held me firmly, exclaiming, "Thank God you're safe." “Are you okay?” she inquired softly. “Yes, I am OK; nothing has happened, so just relax,” I said. “Don't you dare to tell anyone about my phobia,” Zack stated dryly as he grabbed my hand and stared me in the eyes. When I nodded, he relaxed his grip on my hand. He took a big breath and gave me the cold shoulder. Amber also gave me a wicked grin and said, "He is Mr. Billionaire and Mr. Zack Reynold." She snatched Mr. Zack's hand and shook it with hers. At her fan moment, I rolled my eyes. I had to pry her away from Mr. Zack when she clapped her hand like an i***t, and we grabbed a cab home. After meeting him, she was still speechless. We arrived at our apartment, and I stowed my belongings in my closet. Amber, on the other hand, walked into my room and jumped on my bed. “I met the billionaire Mr. Zack Reynold,” she exclaimed enthusiastically. I sat down in bed and prepared to sleep. Then she cried loudly, "I couldn't wash my hand!" “Why couldn't you wash your hands?” I asked, frowning. “I shook my hands with him, so its touch would be gone,” she said, frowning at her hand. I poured water on her hand from the side bed's water bottle. “Why did you pour water on my hand?” she grumbled, her nostrils flared. “To wash your hands as a matter of personal hygiene,” I shrugged. She snarled and stormed out of the room. “Good night, and have water dreams,” I murmured with a chuckle at her.
