One month later
My headache grew worse with each meeting as our project neared completion. In New York, a month has gone by without a hitch. Finally, we would return tonight. In the middle of the meeting, the door was suddenly knocked.
Maya approached with the tray of pills and water, and I grimaced.
I did, however, request that she not attend the meeting today. I don't like it when other company's male employees stare at her. Above all else, though, she would prioritise my health. I am now completely reliant on her for everything.
"Sir, please take it," she murmured, a charming grin on her face. When she glares at me, she appears to be quite attractive. I laughed because I remembered leaving the medicine on the table earlier, and she had brought it back.
